Dear Renee,
My name is Stefanie and I would like to introduce Winter Garden Culture Fest. We would like to invite you to participate in this inaugural event. After viewing your talents we feel you would be a great fit!
Taking place in historic downtown Winter Garden, FL. on November 1st and 2nd 2014, Culture Fest is a new, non profit event benefiting underprivileged youth in the fine and performing arts. This festival is fusing artists, music, food, street performers and film across a two day program of global immersion.
This festival will emphasize historical culture, local and National art and local and international talent. The weekend will include a youth performing arts main stage, a Charles Dickens’/London Train station, open air artists, street performers, Art Auction, Youth Artists Section, City Canvas – a city light show and film screening experience, and our World Film Festival featuring Global Filmmakers. This event is hoping to give our guests the opportunity to experience culture in a way they may not have experienced it before.
Below is the link to our Facebook page and twitter page if you’d like to stay up to date with the event.

We have a few options for artist participation in this event:
Booth Artists – artists have the opportunity to both exhibit and sell their work during this 2 day festival. We are only charging a $25 application fee to participate in this element of the festival. There are no booth fees for the 10×10 artist space. Artists are encouraged to display their work, work on pieces at the festival and sell their work to our patrons. Additionally this a great opportunity to submit a piece for jury.
Plein Air Artist – this would be scheduled throughout the weekend, but artists will be able to work on easels and sell the pieces they create on site!
Street Artist – We are setting up panels near the Heritage Museum on the main festival strip and are looking for artists who are interested in creating art on these panels during the festival. The work will then be exhibited on the new Heritage museum exterior walls.
Art Auction: Artists have to option to donate pieces to our art auction. We are raising money for scholarships for underprivileged students in the arts and the funds raised at the festival are going towards this.
I would love to send you our Call to Artists for your reading. Keep in mind that there is no fee for artists to participate in Culture Fest, just a $25 application fee.
Please let me know if you would like to speak further about participating.
